Rules & Items:
Player Rules:
• Using configurations that are not authorized is illegal. This includes rates and other client variables that are not allowed in CAL. Access to the console is not allowed unless supervised.
• Recording demos is allowed, and can be recovered at the end of the LAN. More information on this TBA.
• Map exploits/boosting/stacking are not allowed, unless a player can physically get there on their own. These will be easily noticeable by everyone in and outside the match.
Match Information:
• The first day will consist of GROUP PLAY. Each group will consist of 6-8 teams. This will determine seeds for the following day's single/double elimination tournament. Number of teams for each group and teams advancing will depend on the number of teams that show.
• It will be at an admin's discretion to restart a match if there are any technical issues.
• Ventrilo will be used for voice communication.
• Ties will result in a two-half 10-minute match.
• Flip a coin for choice of Axis or Allies.
Teams:
All applicable CAL rules shall apply.
• Each team will consist of 6 players. If player(s) are missing, then 4v6 play will be allowed. Anything less will result in a forfeit.
• In order to keep things moving smoothly, each match will be allowed a maximum of one hour to complete. Preparation will be 10 minutes, and a maximum of 5 minutes at half time.
• Matches will be 20 minutes per half. BY the 15th minute of the hour, you are expected to start your match, with AT LEAST 4 players on each team.
• Teams will be allowed to restart their match only if a player crashes within the first 3 minutes. If a team caps out, or is on the verge of capping out (one flag left to capture), restarts will not be allowed under any circumstances.
• The LAN center cannot host all teams at one point, so please do your part in avoiding unnecessary crowding inside the LAN center. This presents a fire hazard, and could jeopardize the completion of the tournament!
